Chilly

Sometimes, ladies and gentlemen (and you scallywags over there in the corner),
the fun is in OVERDOING it, am I right? So I made a pot of chili (yes, with
beans, since we don't own a Jacuzzi) on Monday, and enjoyed a bowl that night.
Then I had it for lunch on Tuesday, and again on Wednesday. Now there ain't no
way I'm having chili again today.

I'm all chilied out! But therein lies the problem...what if I blew my chili
jones for the winter, but it's only August! What am I gonna do in December when
it's 33 outside and my family says "How about chili?" What if I'm still put off
by the stuff even then?

These, my friends (all 2 of you), are the worries that keep me up at night. Well,
that and Nick Nolte. What happened, man!

Now as for today, we're gonna have another topsy-turvy day with record-cold highs
in the northeast and regular late summer weather in the SW.

By the way, should things every get turvy-topsy, make your peace with your
Maker.

We're on our 4th?? wave of rain and storms moving through the state, and heck,
it's raining right now for crying out loud!

This is just going to add to today's rainfall, and that over the last 4 days
since this outbreak of rainy fall weather began.

With a cold front moving in, and all that heat across the southern portions of
the state, we could see MORE storms in that area later today, and they could
get feisty. As often happens with severe weather in Oklahoma, high winds and
hail will be possible, and a NON-ZERO tornado threat.

Then, a very tranquil weekend is in store with more fall weather.

Now, who wants chil...I mean pie??
