Dry time

It's pretty crazy to think back to just one week ago and the frozen hellscape
we were living in. Of course, when I try to think, nothing happens, but I see
the pictures of all the snow and ice! And then, just 6 days later, we were
enjoying this from yesterday:

Alas (Blas and Clas, too), things aren't so perfect, relatively speaking,
because as we showed yesterday, we need more moisture, much like my friend
below.

You know it's getting dry when we break out the desiccated Spongebob pic. If we
don't get rain soon, I might even throw Patrick in there!

If you don't know what I'm talking about, try and class your entertainment choices
up, philistines!

Speaking of Phyllis (no idea where this is going), they definitely need better
news out across western OK where we're approaching 100 days without a good wetting
precip event, as discussed yesterday. Now supposebly (Okie to English translation:
supposedly), our fortunes are gonna turn early next week with several storm
systems in succession that will up those rain chances.

We'll take those chances!

Now there's still lots of uncertainty (don't make me show that chaos image
again), but remember when we say that things can change, that can also mean
for the better. In this case: wetter. Because wetter is better, and I know that
because I have the letter from the setter that...STOP THAT!

Our "perfect" weather of yesterday was spoiled, of course, by another cold
front. The good news is that it's more of a cool front (no, not "cool," like
yours truly...temperature-wise) and we're looking at 60s today.

We'll bounce around today's highs somewhat...a bit above, a bit below, over the
next 7 days or so.

Those NON-FROZEN precip chances look nice. Best thing to do is wait it out a few
days and see where the forecast lands. We'll worry about the rest later.
