Absence of warmth




Nobody reads on Fridays so this is a chance to practice my thezp...thessp...acting
skills. Think Al Pacino in "And Justice For All."

WINTER is out of order!"

(pause for applause)

Well there you have it. Not sure how much snow is gonna fall, not sure how much
ice, if any. Still too far out with the storm system over the ocean so not being
sampled to feed into the forecast models. Remember this graphic...learn it, know
it, live it.



The cold air is coming...the precip is based on the storm track and that's still
iffy. Here's what our local NWS offices have to say.









Right now? Storm track is far enough north that it takes the heavier snow to
the north and east part of the state, some wintry mix to the south. You don't
have to just worry about snow and ice though because the cold will also get
ya!

So let's enjoy today with 50s and, oh...never mind. Winds in gusting 30-50 mph.
Blah.





Start preparing for next week NOW. Don't wait to get out with the cold huddled
masses (or the hold cuddled masses for that matter).
