I need to speak to a manager

Okay, that's it! It's cruel and unusual punishment to give us a near-perfect
day like yesterday, only to yank it out from under us with a blast of winter.

Mother Nature, you're fired! I have somebody else to put in charge. Yeah, that's
right. I'm putting CHARLES in charge!

You want 80s, like yesterday, call on somebody FROM the 80s.

"Charles in Charge (of Oklahoma’s Weather)"
(to the tune of the "Charles in Charge" theme song)

🎶
New day, step outside, oh no—it's cold!
Freezing wind, icy roads, this is getting old.
But I know just the guy who could set things right,
Bring the sunshine back and make it warm and bright!

Chorus:
Charles in charge of our weather today,
No more cold, just warmth on the way!
Charles in charge of the skies and the sun,
Seventies all winter? That sure sounds fun!

No more frost on my car, no more bitter chills,
Just a soft southern breeze rolling through the hills.
Let’s retire these coats, pack the snow away,
Charles, take the wheel—make it hot every day!

Chorus (repeat):
Charles in charge of our weather today,
No more cold, just warmth on the way!
Charles in charge of the skies and the sun,
Eighty in February? That sure sounds fun!

So Charles, hear my plea,
Take control for you and me,
No more winter, let’s be free—
Charles in charge of my weather! 🎶

Now not only was it warm yesterday, it was ALL-TIME WARM yesterday. If'n you're
a fan of our social media pages, you know this already, but as I suspected in
yesterday's Ticker, we did indeed beat the all-time high for a Feb. 3 in OK
when Beaver, Butler, Camargo, Elk City, and Seiling reached 89 degrees, topping
the previous mark of 87 from Erick back in 1934.

Are you kidding me? All-time warmth to this?!?

I'm beside myself (wait, do I really look like that?)!

I'm apaplec...appopl...appapolect...I'm hopping mad!

Okay, calm down. Let's not get crazy! Things will get better tomorrow, and for
the rest of the week as well, before Mother Nature ruins it again next week.

Yeah, you know what happens next week.

Yes, there could be a chance of frozen precip, still way too far out.

Wait, WAIT! No Buddy Lembeck, he'd be sure to screw it up.
