Drought Slashed
I have very little time to Tick today, but I just had to Tock again about that
rainfall over the last few days. Yes, I'm still marveling (no, not DC'ing...
superhero nerds know) that we're already seeing a statewide average of 4.34 inches
across the state, which as I told you yesterday was good enough for the 14th-wettest
November with a whole lotta days left to go, and this is what's coming up through
the weekend...still looking likely we'll see more heavy rains across most of
Oklahoma.
To quote the great Philosopher, Joey Lawrence: "Whoa!" You add another 1-2 inches
to that statewide average and you will zoom up the November rankings to challenge
2015's record 6.05 inches mark.
Not much has changed with our basic forecast other than that. Watch out for
impactful snows in the western Panhandle!
For the restuvus, as we begin our march to Festivus next month...no REALLY cold
air showing up. Not even really cold air, really.
If you start seeing animals lining up, 2 by 2...well, you know.
