This is it!

IT'S CUT! Much like Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, it turns out summer is beatable. It's
just a season! So we go from "I must break you" on Saturday to "Nyet Ivan!" early
next week.

Those aren't exactly record lows for next Tuesday, but they're in the ballpark;
around 5 or so degrees off. At least across northern Oklahoma. And that's after
those near-record highs on Saturday. Might we see a frost across those low-lying
areas of northern OK next week? You know, we're not TOO far off from our normal
first fall freeze (and we all know just how painful that can be), and in line
with our earliest. We'll have to see how much of that cold air filters down our
way. Never put it past Eva up there in the NW Panhandle to reach low for those
milestones.

It can get cold this time of year. Darned cold.

OH! And the most important news of the day...heck, it's raining right now for
crying out loud!

That's mostly a dust-settler, but it's darned sure better than nothing. Still no
drought enders or even drought relievers showing up in the next 7 days, but
there's a bit of something there at least. Very least.
