Like a rolling stone

Yeah, I know it's been quite a stretch over the last couple of weeks since you've
seen a Ticker (okay, I can hear you applauding you know!). It's been a strange
combination of weekends (okay, not so strange), a holiday, and school/work
closures due to inclement weather. We've also had some clement weather, which is
scary because I don't even know what "clement" means! My latest absence was due to
a loss in my life. On Thursday, I lost my dear friend Gall B. Ladder. Yeah, he was
often full of bile, and sometimes made things hard to digest, but he was there for
me for most of my life. However, he got too full of himself and so he had to go.

I mean, the gall of him!

At any rate, we're coming off of a 2-week stretch of weather that saw our coldest,
errrrr, stretch of weather since February 2021, and way too much ice in our
glass.

What can I say? *I* didn't order it! And this morning, let's cloudy things up a
bit, just down at the surface.

And, since we have some freezing weather out in the Panhandle, they get the
dreaded freezing fog designation, creating a traffic hazard.

Winter, or at least the wintry weather, should move on out for awhile as we
begin our slow warm up through early next week into the above spring preview.

However, we will have some very very cold rains in store for later today into
tonight, then again over the weekend. Amounts could add up to something
substantial, especially for January in Oklahoma.

Could we go from this week straight into spring? OF COURSE NOT! That would be
too lovely for us to handle. But we can give it a shot for a week or two, no?
