Summer still percolating

Well not much has happened in Oklahoma's weather in our 5-day absence (consider
that a gift...not the boring weather, the absence). But this time of year, boring
is good. It's rained in places that needed it, and not in other places that REALLY
needed it.

And temperatures have been well under control.

And temperatures look to remain in control, all the way through June, possibly.

But hey, you know me (wait, how do YOU know me?? STALKER ALERT!), if it's gonna be
this humid, then the summer heat I so crave just needs to stay away. My
Panhandle-esque sensibilities can't handle the high heat indexes. Indices? I'm
going with indexes. But we haven't seen a temperature of 90 in the state since
May 12, and nobody's seen 100 yet.

So we will continue with the off-and-on rain chances for awhile. Looks to be
centered on western Oklahoma, which is a good thing for the most part. Heck,
it's raining right now for crying out loud!

But summer's coming, alright. Soon, and for 6 straight months.
