Potpourri

This Tick is going to Tock about a lot that needs Tocked about, but in essence
pretty much about nothing at all. Now before you tell me that's describes nearly
every Ticker, all I can say is this is one of the most boring active patterns I've
ever seen.

We'll have a chance of rain tonight into Tuesday, maybe a few rumbles of thunder,
then another chance across NW and SE OK Wednesday night into early Thursday. Now
for tonight, those rumbles of thunder will be mostly tame, but on Thursday we'll
see a chance for severe weather across far SE OK.

You'll have to stay tuned to see if that threat shifts or spreads northwest, but
all modes of severe weather appear possible. Now for NW OK, in the face of a
strong arctic front that comes through with Wednesday's storm system, we might see
quite a bit of blowing snow.

Maybe farther east into north central OK, but not as impactful. And with each
post-storm system period, we'll see that fire danger kick up, as could be
expected this time of year what with all this dead/dormant vegetation. Doesn't
matter if it rains that much...not like those plants can take it and green up
just yet. That comes later next month.

Winds today and especially tomorrow are going to be Oklahoma-worthy with gusts
of 40-50 mph. Yeah, it's back!

Through it all, rain and snow amounts will be welcomed by all, but nothing to
write home about. Try calling, your Mom would really like to hear from you,
ya know!

Watch out for that temperature change Wednesday night, however. It's gonna need
more than a phone call.

Rain, snow, fire, severe weather, wind, heat, bitter cold...we're gonna have 2
or 3 seasons all rolled into one in this one week. While I call that boring,
for Februaries around here lately...maybe that's a good thing!
