YOU MUST CHILL!

Whoa there, Lloyd. I hate to go all null and void, but the rain SHOULD actually
start Thursday evening as our much-publicized cold front enters the state and
brings us a bit of a cool down (and the moisture chances) through the weekend.

As for the rain forecast, unfortunately it would appear that the southern half of
the state might get a bit more left out, which is not good news at all. There is
always a chance we can shift the rain chances farther south...it is still a few
days away, of course. So let's hope for that one. Until then, we know what's up.

Heat. Unbearable, unquenchable heat. Enough heat to make you think of the hottest
thing you can think of and then add a scorch level.

So fiery hot cheetohs? Add a level.

Super hot tamales? Add a level.

McDonald's hot apple pie, filled with lava? Add a level.

You get the drill. We will continue to see these heat advisories for at least
the next couple of days for high temperatures in the 105-110 range, and heat
index values in the 105-115 range.

So we get to add a few more days to this map for most of the state.

Now I hate to be the bearer of mediocre-to-downright.bad news, but we can't
really call this a pattern change...maybe a pattern interruptus? Because we
go right back to the heat following our 4-day excursion back to normalcy.

So it's all in the waiting now, and that's about all I want to do. I don't want
to sell anything, buy anything, or process anything as a career. I don't want
to sell anything bought or processed, or buy anything sold or processed, or
process anything sold, bought, or processed, or repair anything sold, bought,
or processed. I just want to wait for the pattern interruptus.

Who am I? I'm Lloyd Dobler.
