Sprung?
Wildfires and storms and snows, oh my! WILDFIRES AND STORMS AND SNOWS, OH MY!
That's this week in a nutshell. Okay...biiiiiig breath:
We'll see some great weather today with temperatures in the 60s and 70s but then
tomorrow that same great weather turns a bit nasty because of high winds and
very low humidity across the western half of the state that will cause big
wildfire problems but those same gusty southerly winds kicked up by an approaching
storm system will bring moisture into the area on Wednesday which will interact
with a front later on Wednesday evening that could kick off some storms that could
at first have some hail and winds with it until it shifts down into southeast
OK with some better ingredients for organized severe weather but then as the cold
air behind the front starts to seep in some of that moisture could turn to snow
across NW OK which could turn into some pretty good accumulations but that of
course is in the eye of the beholder if big snows are good or not I think they are
because I just bought a sled but of course probably too late this season because
that's how Mother Nature tends to mess me over and oh yeah it will be cold again
on Thursday and Friday before we warm back up over the weekend and I hope that's a
sign spring is that much closer because each cold front should be followed by
more and more warm air as we get farther into spring and that's all I have to
say about that but no wait there might be another storm system next week that
I can use my sled for but that's a fantasy-cast and you know how that goes.
Now, I dare ya to say I got the forecast wrong after all that. Indecipherable
is my middle name, after all. Here are some graphics from our NWS friends
giving a more concise/clear rundown on this week's weather.

How much moisture in this week's craziness? Well, a lot for the east and not
quite as much for the west, possibly. What else is new.
Anybody want to buy a sled? Owned by a little old climatologist, never used.
