If'n you're looking for some weather to finally get you in the mood for the
Holiday Season, this week ain't it. Here's what we're gonna see in a nutshell (in
fact, the weather in the nutshell will probably be better than ours). First we'll
see lots of wind and record high temps going into Wednesday. And I don't mean
just wind. I mean OKLAHOMA wind...gusts to 60-70 mph possible up in NW OK.









And of course that's gonna cause the fire danger to go through the roof. And the
last thing you want to hear is...wait for it, apologies in advance...the roof,
the roof, the roof is on fire.





That all occurs in advance and during a frontal passage. Mostly dry, of course.
After that, we'll see moderating temperatures after the front with chances of
light precip here and there. There will be a chance of storms with the front
across SE OK Wednesday, but nothing in the way of what was seen to our east
this weekend.

Following that bit of weather, we'll see another big cold front on Saturday.
This time it will possibly be timed right to see a bit of freezing precip with
it. Don't look for a snowstorm, look for very light freezing drizzle/rain
for now, and maybe a few snowflakes. Warning in advance...don't get your
hopes up here! Come for the cold air, stay for the freezing drizzle?



Frankly (or Garyly), after the scouring we're all gonna get the first few days
of the week, some regular old winterish weather will be welcomed.

Chances for a big front next week, timed perfectly for Christmas? With some
sort of precip with it? Ooh, how's that for a tease!
