Oklahoma: Desert Planet

In my desire to use a "Dune" meme, I could almost have said "Dessert Planet"
after the gorge-fest I just went through over Thanksgiving. Sometimes the fun is
in overdoing it, right? We obviously haven't been gorging on precip, of course.
Those wanting snow might drop your expectations and just ask for some plain old
rain. If we look at the upcoming week, I'm afraid those sand worms are going to
be loving it, especially across the western half of Oklahoma. Maybe a bit of rain
across eastern Oklahoma as we get later into the week, but even that's iffy at
best. And then expect the dry times to continue well into next week (and
beyond??) as well.

And make no bones about it (however, if you could make bones, any chance I could
get you to make me a new back?), it has been DRY across western OK, and just dry
across eastern OK.

And to add injury to insult, when it comes to our drought picture, the
temperatures are gonna be up in above normal territory more often than not
over the next couple of weeks.

Some parts of the Panhandle have had less than an inch of rain over the last
90 days.

That's not even enough to give a Kwisatz Haderach a good drink of water.

Look, I know if you haven't read (or seen) "Dune," this Ticker is mostly
nonsensical, but can you tell me when it's mostly sensical?
