Frizzly Adams

Oh, so you have frizzy hair? Well BOO HOO! Must be terrible taming that luxurious
mane of yours, what with its full body of shiny, silky strands. Well, I have a
frizzy hair, too. That's right, I said "a" frizzy hair. It's the one I'm
cultivating on my left eyebrow. A much more serious problem than hair, however,
is the impact of the humidity on the heat stress on us living creatures. You can
see this Gulf moisture streaming up from the south, the deep plume all the way
from the Texas Coast region.

You can also see this plume on the visible satellite image.

The impact on the heat index is going to ramp up over the next couple of days,
especially as we get into Thursday and Friday.

A nice summer cold front will barrel through the state late into Friday, giving
us some prolonged cooler weather, with a chance of showers and storms
included as a nice bonus.

This is shaping up to be an extended period of cooler weather right as we head
into the deep (SAY "DEEP" ONE MORE TIME!) summer period, so a very nice gift
indeed for as long as it intends to stick around.

That's what my hair said about two decades ago, too, so beware!
