Here it comes!

Eventually, we all pay the piper (or the IRS). I'm sure back in the day, with my
Arnold Schwarzenegger-esque full head of hair (and body too...prove me wrong!),
I LOL'd at somebody who was follicly challenged. Piper = paid. And that's what is
happening with our weather this week, and probably next week...until October.
Summer comes roaring back sorta starting tomorrow, but definitely on Wednesday
when we could be looking at our first 100 in the state. And as we look at these
forecast highs, remember after all that rain we're going to see steam rising
right before our eyes, making us miserable. We may see upper 80s or low 90s on
the thermometer, but the heat index will be well into the triple digits.

It's a bit early for the rain to be leaving us, but we've had it almost non-stop
for so long this year that not too many are going to be sad about it. Maybe a bit
later, but after today and tomorrow morning, rain chances go way down with just a
few showers and storms popping this weekend, maybe. It's raining right now, of
course, but this will soon be but a memory.

There is no doubt that we have gotten used to being on the cool, rainy side of
the weather through spring and early summer, so we're not really acclimated to
what's coming. Neither was my comb, but I survived...it's called a hat. So
be prepared for the hot weather that's coming, sooner rather than later.
