Heyyyy!

Quick, go outside and enjoy the sun and don't stop until you're a crisp red (upon
advice from my attorneys, Dewey Screwem and Howe, and my dermatologist, Pim Pel
Popper, please accept the previous sentence as satirical). Yesterday wasn't so
bad either, although it was still a bit soggy with scattered showers and storms
about. But, we did see sun. Today expect lots more with a few scattered showers
again, but highs actually starting to get a bit closer to what would be considered
just a tad below normal for this time of year. Then some lovely early summer
weather before rain chances return over the weekend, ramping up on Sunday.

It does look like the big blog that was promising to inundate the state once again
is shifting more southeast, meaning the heaviest rainfall will probably impact
SE OK.

More good news, drought is on the run in the state, being ushered out politely
by all the rain we've had lately. We're down to about 6% of the state being
impacted, right there in that stubborn area from Jackson County up into
Canadian County. However, drought is completely eliminated in south central
OK and the Panhandle.

Cimarron County has been in continuous drought since Oct. 22, 2019, so quite a
run of drought there.

Unfortunately, not much luck this week for that corridor in SW-C OK, but at least
they received SOME rainfall lately. There's an area in NC OK that is in need
of some rain as well.

Summer weather will soon return, and we'll be baking in the pressure cooker
created by all this rain. I'd say "Sit on it, humidity!" but that'd be kind
of childish.
