Okay, so I'll admit that we actually need some rain, but we're talking boring in
the sense that we're not seeing any high end severe weather in store for the
state...at least not this week. Now if you're in northern Oklahoma tomorrow night,
or eastern Oklahoma Wednesday, you might find it just a tad bit exciting, but
again, as you can see from the SPC outlooks down below (and above), not really
anything too scary for Oklahoma in April. Maybe some hail and high winds with
some storms, if they fire.

It's been a good 2 weeks since we had a good rainfall for much of the state, so
the unfortunate part of the boring is a lack of rain that comes with it.

There will be other minor rain chances, and the outlook for the end of next
weekend MIGHT hold some promise (the models are still a bit convoluted), but
really what we're looking at this week is lots of warm, windy and dry weather,
and so with the vegetation still slow to green up, that means fire danger
will rear its ugly, fiery head throughout the bulk of the week.

The good boring part will continue for this week, at least. We do need some
really boring rain, as I mentioned earlier. I say we enjoy to monotony now,
to prepare for some Thursday in May where we get 73 tornadoes.
