Low (but not zero)

Yep, it's spring outside. The moose out front should have told ya. If not, then
these dewpoint maps will.

All that Gulf moisture streaming north from, uhhhhhhhh, the Gulf, spells trouble
later in Oklahoma. Rain, of course, but with a strong storm system approaching
from the west, we should see a dryline form later in the Texas Panhandle and
move into western Oklahoma. You know what that means. Somebody's about to
seriously mess with this airport! No wait, that's what John McClane figured out
in "Die Hard 2." Mother Nature is about to seriously mess with the weather.

The tornado threat is actually low, but it's not zero. And the hail and wind
threat also exists, of course. The most severe threat lies across SW OK, which is
in an "enhanced" risk from the Storm Prediction Center. That's also where the
greatest hail and wind threats are. Heavy rain threats are implied.

But at least we have the warmth to look forward to today and tomorrow. A cold
front plunges tomorrow through the day and ruins the fun. In case you thought
we were done with freezes for everybody in the state, Saturday morning has a
rude awakening for you.

I'm glad I didn't write a Ticker somewhat claiming we might not see another
freeze across much of the state! Ahem.

At any rate, today is the day to get back into "stay weather aware" mode.

Saturday, we're back to "freezing our hind ends off" mode.
