Never again!

Yeah, quite a mess, right? I nearly croaked Saturday, and I was inside under the
AC! Thank goodness for Sunday's cold front, which came in as advertised and took
the sizzle out of everybody's Father's Day BBQ. Want to see what that looks like
in time? Well, take a look at the Kingfisher Mesonet meteogram for the last two
days. It went from a heat index of 112 degrees on Saturday to a high of 84 on
Sunday. Heck, it got down to 58 degrees this morning!!

And 50s scattered about the state? NOICE, as the kids say (and I refuse to look it
up to see what it means...I assume it means "nice"). And oh by the way, Friday
was not much better than Saturday.

Hooker and Mangum set the mark for highest temperature of the year thus far at
106 degrees on Saturday. I don't think we have anything quite that extreme
coming up this week, but it is summer, and there will be heat.

Then another cool down coming for the weekend with a much needed chance of rain.

Right now, looks like a decent rain. Not enough to keep up with the summer heat,
but not bad for the end of June.

All we need now is for it to happen!
