Sweaters can stay in the closet
Sweaters? Sorry, Ken Bone, but down here you'll need a tank top (and that's not
a good look on either of us!). Now we will have a nice front come through on
Wednesday that will drop temperatures down into the 60s as it passes through, and
it will keep us a bit on the fall side through Thursday.
Maybe Thursday morning you could wear a sweater then during the day peel it off
and just wear your undershirt?
But by the weekend, you'll be basking in the Oklahoma sunshine and thinking about
early September again and the sweaters will have to go back to the top of the
closet.
And as Ken Bone showed us earlier, the CPC medium-range outlooks don't look
favorable to putting those polos up and getting the sweaters in prime closet
space just yet.
Even though there is a hint of a bit of cool air to the west by the end of that
period, I still don't see it on the fantasy-cast long range model runs. There are
hints of occasional fronts where we can sneak in a quick red cardigan sweater or
two, but even going out after that, no extended bouts of autumn.
And you FOR SURE don't want to be wearing a sweater today, unless you're ready
to wring some sweat out of it after walking outside.
So you go, Ken Bone, wear your sweater and enjoy...heat stroke.
