Hey, it's wet ain't it!

Yeah yeah, it's not as exciting to some of you as the snow last week, but it is
indeed raining as I type this. At least I didn't sit in line for over an hour
getting my car washed this weekend!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh, wait, I did. Now all that sand and dirt spread on the roads will make for
a lovely soup to go BACK on our cars, so we'll then need to spend another hour in
line later this week to get our cars washed. Hmmmm, I'm sensing a conspiracy. Well
played, car wash owners. But again, at least it is raining, at least in parts of
the state.

Unfortunately for N and W Oklahoma, this is another southern storm, so those
parts of the state that need water the most will mostly miss out. Here are the
takes from the local NWS offices (with scenarios that are already playing out).

Following that, we go into a very pleasant stretch of weather, albeit dry,
unfortunately. But at least it will be seasonable-to-above-seasonable in the
temperature column...at least for the highs.

There's just a hint of a storm system for 10 days out or so, but of course that's
but a fantasy-cast at this point. The Canadian model isn't very bullish on the
prospects with less than a 30% chance of seeing at least an inch of rain
accumulate from the 11th through the 24th across the western half of the
state.

I'll take the rain today, however. A fine form of moisture. Ever hear of snow,
sleet, freezing rain?

Morons! (snow, sleet and freezing rain...not you!)
