It's October 20th...do you know where your autumn is?

Well, if you get up early enough, you can still experience a real live autumn...at
least some temperatures in the 50s (with some 60s and 40s thrown in there). Like
this morning, for instance.

Most of those lows are still 5-10 degrees above normal. The average highs for
today are somewhere in the 70-ish range, so the forecast highs of upper 70s and
low 80s are also somewhere around 10 degrees above normal.

It doesn't change much throughout the week...just a few minor fronts adjusting
the temps down 5-10 degrees or so Wednesday night into Thursday. Might as well
skip to Friday where we see weather much like today being forecast.

That's sorta how it looks for the rest of October as well, at least now at 11 days
out until Halloween. The statewide average high temperature for October thus far
has been 77.6 degrees, about 2 degrees above normal, so we're definitely headed
towards another warmer-than-normal month.

There will be a chance of rain with that frontal system on Wednesday night and
Thursday. The Norman NWS office details that, while the Tulsa NWS office shows
a chance of showers today across parts of Oklahoma.

Don't expect widespread rainfall from any of this, however. Generally, if you
get under a pretty good shower, you probably stink and needed it (you know who
you are!). Personal hygiene aside, a few lucky folks might see a half-inch or
more of moisture.

So set those alarms for 5 a.m. and get outside and enjoy a little autumn.
