Here we go again! Again! Again!

I have to stop using that title...I'm running out of space for all the "agains."
The current radar tells the story for Oklahoma.

You can actually loop the hi-res U.S. radar picture for yourself here (the file
is a couple of mb):

The Mesonet rainfall map also shows who has gotten the most moisture over the last
few days, and today.

Those are some really nice totals in the Panhandle and southwest Oklahoma, two
of the hardest hit parts of the state. The rain should start to shift to the east
as well and start to spread the wealth. Check out the graphics from the local
NWS offices for the weather picture over the next couple of days.

Just like a couple of weeks ago, with the cool air behind the front and the
rain, we're going to see high temperatures held down 15-25 degrees below normal,
so records for the lowest maximum temperatures are liable to be broken. Here are
the forecast highs and also the historical records for the day. Check out the
records in your location and keep an eye on those Mesonet temperatures today.
For instance, I'm betting Buffalo doesn't reach the previous record low-high of
80 degrees, set back in 1925!

And then we'll have to watch the southeast for records on Thursday.

And don't be surprised if we do something like this late next week as well, at
least according to the Aug. 6-12 outlooks from CPC.

Bye-bye, drought? Stay tuned!
