It was

Quoting the Ticker from last Wednesday:

"Is it "supposed to" rain this week?"

This were posed as questions, so I'm covered, but let's see how they panned out.

"Supposed to" rain. Well, that one is a bit hit and miss, just as the rain was.
Since last Wednesday, this one came true for some and not so much for others.

So congrats to Talihina for your 1.94 inches, and others who received from 0.01
inches (way to go, Altus!!) to over an inch.

We'll call this one a push. Luckily, it's raining now, and it's "supposed to"
keep on raining through the night. Hopefully, that will bring us some more
substantial rainfall totals to work with.

Looks like it could cut off sharply to the west, so here's hoping that is farther
west than predicted there.

We do know that temperatures are going to drop off once again. They took a step
down last week and tomorrow they'll go down another notch. Tuesday and Wednesday
will be much more seasonable with highs in the 50s and 60s.

And lows will ping down into the 30s and 40s. Generally for both highs and lows,
cooler in the west and a bit warmer in the east.

Oh yeah, one final evaluation of what I said last Wednesday.

OU is "supposed to" beat Texas.

That one I'm safe on since OU decided to not play the game. Oh, Texas DID show
up and play the game? Well ... I wonder what happened? I must have missed it.
