Ben Franklin says "take a break"

Not a great day for kite flying, unless you want to end up in Kansas somewhere.
And there are few fates worse than that! (I kid, I kid!) The latest Mesonet
maximum wind gust map shows what a lovely day it is outside.

Winds over much of the state are gusting between 40 mph and 50 mph, with some
even greater than 50 mph. Looks like Kenton is leading the state so far with a
56 mph gust.

Temperatures have also risen well into the 80s in the west with some 90s thrown
in up in the northwest.

Those upper 80s and 90s tend to coincide with the areas with the most sunshine

and where the air is driest (should be easy to spot the dryline):

In other words, it's warmer and drier behind the dryline.

Now whatever you do, don't forget what else Ben Franklin used to say! If you
have, there are many books with his quotes. That's not my area of specialty.

The nerve!
