Rainfall, And a Study in Contrast
Scattered reports of severe weather in the last 24 hours, but heavy
rains are the issue of the day. Flooding and flash-flooding are
widespread threats, and the ongoing wheat harvest has been ground
to a halt by the rains.
North-central Oklahoma has seen a tremendous amount of precip
during the last week. Since last Monday, Lahoma has recorded 9.02";
this is nearly three inches more than Boise City and Goodwell have
recorded in the last *year*.
