Much of Oklahoma Remains Unfrozen into Mid-November
Much of our state has yet to experience a freeze this autumn, and the
entire Ticker staff has the backyard mosquitoes to prove it. In fact,
this is becoming a rare season, as the 90th percentile freeze date has
passed or is soon to pass for almost all of the state. In English,
that's the date by which a sub-freezing temperature observation has
occurred in 9 of 10 years.
