Sudden Overnight Warm Surge in Eastern Oklahoma
This afternoon, a sharp cold front is sweeping across Oklahoma and
producing impressive temperature drops like those seen in the
following images:
Early this morning, boundary pushed through eastern Oklahoma, causing
temperature rises that were impressive in their own right. Two good
examples come from the Idabel and Stigler meteograms:
That's an eight-degree temperature jump at Stigler. Not bad for
three in the morning in February!
