Ridge Passage Shows up in Wind Field
A subtle surface ridge in place over northwestern Oklahoma is drifting
slowly eastward today.
The ridge's effects show up quite well in the meteograms at Beaver and
Slapout, both in the eastern panhandle.
When the pressure peaked at these sites, the wind direction field was
thrown into chaos (well, as much as light and variable winds can be
considered chaos).
