Streaks Continue
It has now been almost three months since significant (more than 0.1")
rain last fell on the Tipton and Altus Mesonet gauges (since June 28th
and July 1st, respectively). More than half of Oklahoma has gone
50+ days without significant rainfall ... that's the entire month of
August, plus 20 days in September.
