News Flash: It's Windy

Very stiff winds following a cold front have peppered the state over
the last 24 hours. In fact, no less than NINETY wind gusts exceeding
NWS-established severe limits were observed by the Oklahoma Mesonet
between 3:30 pm yesterday and 3:30 am this morning.

All told, eighteen different stations recorded severe wind gusts.
Wind gusts exceeding 50 have been fairly commonplace today.
