Rainfall Continues
Just six months ago, the Ticker was looking back on one of the worst
summertime drought/hot spells in recent history. Today, the Ticker
is documenting some very heavy, flood-producing rains from a large
synoptic system over the last 48 hours.
The heaviest rains, as seems to be the case for the last two years,
occurred in north-central to northwest Oklahoma. Another narrow band
of heavy precipitation totals extends from Wichita Falls to Norman
to Tulsa to Miami.
