The earliest freeze observed by the Oklahoma Mesonet this season
was on the morning of October 17th, at Kenton.
Kenton has endured the longest sub-freezing spell to date this season,
when temperatures were below 32F for more than 53 straight hours from
December 6th through December 8th.
Durant is the only Mesonet station yet to observe a temperature of
32F or less.
