Mesonet Subscriber's Page Gets New Look, New Products:

The Oklahoma Mesonet Subscriber's Data Page just received a makeover
and the new version is online at:

http://www.mesonet.org/

In addition to a streamlined page and a fresh look for some products,
the following products have been added, modified or expanded:

Mesonet Plugins - These pages have been overhauled to take advantage
of WxML, a markup language which works with plugin
versions 3.0 and greater.  WxML will allow advanced
users a much more flexible and customizable way to
view mesonet data with the WxScope plugins.  More
details on WxML will be available soon.

The new WxML-based plugin pages will continue to
work the way users have grown accustomed to, and
the change should be transparent to the casual user.


Latest Weather Map        - now displays rain since midnight local time
Rainfall Since Midnight   - replaces rainfall since 00Z

12-Hr Cumulative Rainfall - new product
48-Hr Cumulative Rainfall - new product
72-Hr Cumulative Rainfall - new product

Site-specific Statistics  - displays a large collection of today's
statistics for any Mesonet station.

Mesonet Meteograms        - now available for each Mesonet station

An online description is now available for the suite of current maps.
