Earthstorm
The Earthstorm Project began as a teacher enhancement project primarily
for middle and junior high school science and math teachers who are
interested in using real-time environmental data in their classroom
activities.

Since its inception in the summer of 1992, the project has brought
real-time Oklahoma Mesonet data to thousands of K-12 students in hundreds
of classrooms.

The Earthstorm Project also sponsors teacher institutes, in which
teachers are familiarized with weather data and the Internet.  This July,
OCS is holding an institute for college professors from primary and
secondary education programs.
