Fire Danger on the Rise

With the low rain totals over the past weeks, and the continued hot
and windy weather, the Oklahoma Fire Danger Model is indicating
significant fire danger indices generally west of Interstate 35.

The fire danger indices are based upon AVHRR satellite information
and Oklahoma Mesonet data.  They are updated five times per day at:
