The Droughty Boys

Darn I love the Beastie Boys with their homespun lyrics crafted on the mean
streets of Gotebo, with lyrics like: "You have to fight, for the right, to
POTTTTTTTTYYYYYY." I mean, isn't it the ballad of eating at Taco Bell?
Okay, I may have gotten all those facts wrong, especially the lyrics, but that
doesn't change the fact that our dry spell is gonna continue for the next week or
so, at least that's the way it looks right now. Than means drought continues, as
does the fire danger with it picking up again this week more often than not.

Not to the level we had early last week, but anytime the winds kick up, we will
see the possibility of impactful fire danger. All this in the face of one of the
driest winters on record.

You can see for northeast Oklahoma, it is their driest winter thus far (without
a lot of "thus farring" left to go) in at least the last 100 years as the dry
spell continues to grow again. The Panhandle, though!

The one bright spot? The top of my head with the light reflecting off of it?
NO! Well, yes, but also we see another warm up for the week with 70s and 80s
by Saturday.

Next week...just maybe next week, we'll see the chance for some better moisture.

No snow, though. We may be done with that.
