Refund

Can we get a refund on this snowfall? I mean, yeah, it's cool (cold, akshually!)
and all, but the best stuff happened overnight. In the dark. When I couldn't see
it. And even what we got here in north Norman was pretty piddling (hey, "Pretty
Piddling" was my band's name at my Chili's orientation!) compared to what some
got.
Heck, for some it's snowing right now, for crying out loud!

Some of that is rain and sleet. And heck, it's cold for everybody right now,
for crying out loud!

There is a winter weather advisory out, but I'm guessing it's not long for this
world. We got lucky as of about right after my Ticker went out the forecasts
starting pointing towards less freezing rain/drizzle and more towards snow and
sleet and rain.
At any rate, it's mostly over now as things wind down. And it might be awhile
before it snows again. Such is Oklahoma.

That top graphic takes us out through next week, and the period after that
ain't much better (for snow).

This batch sure looked pretty at our Mesonet site at the National Weather
Center, though.

Anyway, there you have it. An anti-climactic Ticker for an anti-CLIMATIC
snowfall for me. Better luck next time!
