Double trouble

I'm off this week, much like my hair dryer has been for decades, but I figured
I'd drop you a line and give you the bad news...I'll be back next week. But
even badder news, drought is alive and flourishing in Oklahoma. The reason why
is easy to see in the rainfall stats since climatological fall began on Sept. 1.

Central Oklahoma is faring the worst as well, suffering its 3rd-driest Sept. 1-
Oct. 15 in at least the last 100 years, but nobody else is doing good over that
period either.

Basically, for all intensive porpoises, it hasn't rained since the begging of
fall over a big portion of the state...at least no significant rain.

And there's just not a ton on the horizon, at least for the next 7 days.

There are more storm systems down the line after this weekend's storminess, but
that's getting past the 10-day point. Fantasy-cast territory. Needs to change
in a hurry!
