Beastie weather
No, I don't know why we're in this larger warmer-than-normal regime this fall,
an overrun of summer into this season, even during a brief burst of autumn.
Maybe the atmosphere is out of fluid. Has anybody checked the levels?
Maybe there's a kink in the genechtagazoink (Linda Richmond fans know...google
if you have to).
It could be worse. And better. Today will be a lovely fall-ish day, albeit still
a bit above normal in some areas, a bit below in others. More seasonable, at
least.
We could have had the chilly (and chili, if you are so inclined) Oct. 8 from
back in 2000.
Or the blazing hot one from 2021.
Oof! I'll definitely take today. But it does appear the warm weather, minus
a day or two here and there where we'll get a brief cooldown thanks to a cold
front or two, is going to continue for at least the next couple of weeks,
taking us dangerously close to November before we get a break.
Yes, 10 days from November is pretty darned dangerous in my book! Nah, don't
bother looking for my book, it's been filed under the Dooey Decimal System,
because we object to Mr. Dewey's pedanticilism and importance to detail,
starting with his refusal to admit that "pedanticilism" should be a real word!
And still, if you need rain (and you likely do), afraid not. At least for the
next week or so.
We definitely need a pattern change. The only problem is, I don't know where
to add the fluid!
