Cool as a wilted cucumber

You need some hot weather during summer. Otherwise, who would care about fall
when it rolls around in September. I mean October. Or maybe November. So far,
we've had very little in the way of heat wavy material to work with. Even now,
after the long holiday weekend, we dealt with more rain than heat!

I'm sorry (not really), but this is no way to run a summer. Where's the burnt
legs from sitting down on your vinyl car seat after it's been beat on by the sun
all day? Or even worse, your bare back slapping up against this thing?

(Star Wars moment, begin)
Search your feelings, you know it to be true! Also, Luke, I'm your second
cousin, third removed, on your Mother's side.
(Star Wars moment, end)

It will get hot again this week, but not for too long. Thursday looks the
hottest, but then we get another cold front Friday, more rain chances, and
then another Saturday meant more for June than July.

There will be a bit severe weather probably, especially tomorrow. During summer,
much like after eating Taco Bell, that usually means severe winds.

Not too bad, though. Pretty normal for July thunderstorms, even during uncommon
July weather. No sign of the dreaded heat dome for now.
