Tornadies?




These ain't your Grandpappy's Oklahoma severe weather threat days, but still
enough to sit up and take notice of. And yes, you can end a sentence with the
word "of". While some older grammar guides discouraged this, modern language
authorities and style guides generally agree that it's grammatically correct and
often the most natural way to express an idea.

AI TOLD ME SO!

Some might wonder why I'm posting such low tornado threats, when hail and high
winds (straight-line, not tornadoey) are the bigger threats. Some might wonder
about most of what I write, but that's never stopped me. However, there is
method to my madness...because the tornado threat implies the others, although on
a bit grander scale.

Besides, the really bad stuff looks to be hitting early next week, although if
you get hit with any of these hazards before then, you're also getting "the
really bad stuff."
