Need vs Want
Oof, that tropical system was so close. Stupid steering winds always seem to take
them northeast at the ArkLaTex.
You need rain, I need rain, we ALL need rain. It'll be anarchy! Screws fall out,
sir. The world's not a perfect place.
Hey, all the fumbled "Breakfast Club" (that's "THE" Breakfast Club to you) quotes
in the world won't produce the rain we desperately need. Heck, not even the State
Fair seems to be working this year (it starts on the 12th). Maybe there's a good
sign ahead though?
I mean, above normal precip this time of year doesn't exactly yell "DROUGHT'S
OVER," but it definitely wouldn't hurt either, especially with drought's best
friend, above normal temperatures, coming this way.
Widespread 90s? As early as Wednesday?
Pretty crazy considering we nearly reached the 30s this morning in SE OK.
How badly do we need that rainfall?
PRETTY DARNED BADLY! Even badlier than I need a hat on a sunny day. And the
badlies, even more than the left lane on the Interstate needs an eject feature
for slow drivers!
It'll get worse before it gets better. The Interstate deal.
But also the lack of rainfall.
My scalp will NOT be getting better, sadly.
