Rebuffed
Heck, it COULD be raining right now, for crying out loud, but somehow Texas has
managed to deny us any of the rainfall that seemingly ends right at our
geopolitical/physical boundary with them. That's okay, we'll just deny them the
class and intelligence from our side of the river...see how THEY like it!
Don't be too shocked at that statement...I deny Ticker readers my class and
intelligence with every word I write. Or wait...maybe I confirm the lack thereof?
But, it has at least rained a bit down in SW OK, and a tiny bit elsewhere, over
the last 24 hours.
There's still a chance of rain today down in that area of the state, if that
storm complex can rotate but up our way.
Other than that excitement, we're smack dab in full on summer mode. We'll get
one or two more days of spring-like temperatures, but back to the frying pan
starting on Thursday.
And the heat could stick for awhile.
That's okay, too. It'll start to cool down eventually...right around November
23.
