Ridick You Lus
I'm sorry (not really), but this is just wayyyyy too cold for late March, and I'm
the State Climatologist so who would know better than me?
Okay, besides those people?
(Play montage of thousands of people here).
Okay, besides all THOSE people?
It can get extremely cold this time of year, of course. Just look at the record
lows for this day, back to the 1880s.
Of course, it can get really hot as well.
Saddenlly (some folks say "sadly," I sez "saddenly"), nothing like that for
today.
I'm sorry (not really), seeing those highs today vs. what it COULD have been
has me a little verklempt.
Talk amongst yourselves. Sticking with yesterday's topic, the movie "Road House"
was neither about a road, nor a house.
Heck, some folks in the Panhandle have been below freezing for more than 24
hours, for crying out loud!
The bad news is we have another day, tomorrow, of this foolishness. The good
news, as discussed yesterday, is we're headed back to springtown later in the
week. Those of you from Stringtown, just stay put. You're close enough.
COME ON, SATURDAY!
We need it to get warm. After all, we don't want the calendar sitting on a
throne of lies, now do we?
