Whither Winter?
Sorry (not really), but I see no cold air coming down this way for the next 7-10
days, and maybe out to 14 days. All the REALLY cold air is bottled up well to our
north and the REALLY cold air is over Siberia right now with no cross-polar flow
down our way.
And that's a good place for it. That's a -31C over there in Siberia, at least I
think that's Siberia. I would look it up but I'm scared of getting sent to the
gulags. But if you feel like doing the math, that's -24F to me and you. Better to
you than me, though.
I'm temperature-fragile!
Look at it this way. OOF! Not that way! It was a figure of speech. This way: that
cold air will have to start moving sometime. Why not make it about the third week
out, closer to Christmas? Don't ya want a chance at a white Christmas? Don't ya
want snow?
What? Airpods! What do I look like, Santa Claus? Wow, really? That was mean!
You've never seen under his hat.
At any rate, this is about as boring as it gets for weather in Oklahoma. A front
today that will just keep us a bit warm instead of cold, then 50s, 60s, and even
a few 70s this week. Slight chance of rain on Saturday with very low amounts
being forecast.
It's soooo boring the Mesonet has stooped to measuring the moisture accumulated
from fog and/or melting frost.
Hey, you know why Santa went to music school?
He wanted to improve his wrapping skills.
Ugh.
