WedNOsday

First off, heck, it's raining right now for crying out loud!!

Sorry, had to get that in before the storms exited the state.

Well what can I say? No, seriously, what can I say...I'm blanked today. Okay, how
about this...summer is about to slam headlong into us this week, but at least it
will be short-lived? And not the disastrous humid heat that brought us so much
misery over the weekend. Well, at least for the southeastern half of the state.
The northwestern half was basking in late spring glory whilst the southeast was
making their own gravy. What's that look like?

GROSS! The cold front that pushed the heat and humidity back to the southeast has
stalled out and will fizzle tomorrow, but as for today, that heat will once again
be isolated down in far southern Oklahoma. And as with the last few days, it's
gonna be a doozy down there.

The heat comes back for everybody starting tomorrow before peaking on Wednesday
and Thursday. Then we see another stretch of mild weather, and possibly a
chance for rain as we go into the Fourth of July holiday.

Not the drenching rains we've seen before, but more of the true summertime
variety. Widely scattered but heavy if you're lucky enough to be under a cell.
Looking like the mild stretch could at least last most of next week, if we're
lucky.

I know, I know (I don't though), a weird thing to hear me...an avowed
Summer-nista, say, but I'll take just about anything over those high heat
index days.

GIVE ME A DRY HEAT, OR GIVE ME DEAT...well, wait a minute. That's a bit harsh.

GIVE ME A DRY HEAT, OR GIVE ME "GOLDEN GIRLS" RERUNS.
