Rainy Season Day 2

We continue to try and fit the rest of our Spring Rainy Season (capitalized for
no reason whatsoever) into one week. Round 2 today, and yesterday's totals were
just about what we expected...forecast, even (oh woe be to those that say
"forecasted"). Here's what was forecasted...it's okay, I'm already woe.

And here's what fell:

And while the eastern third of the state is expected to get the lion's share of
today's moisture, it's the Panhandle and the rest of the High Plains under the
severe weather gun. And no, I DON'T know who this lion is, and why he's giving
away his portion of moisture. I'm betting it's voluntary, because who would be
able to TAKE something from a lion?

Something to ponder as you gaze at today's SPC severe wx outlooks.

So nothing too bad, at least. Tomorrow looks like maybe one of THOSE days.

More on that tomorrow, and watch who you're calling moron. We're still looking
at the tiger's share (the lion is all out, apparently) of rainfall coming this
weekend, which is apropos since it's Mother's Day and all. It really balloons
those forecast rainfall totals over the next 5 days.

Speaking of Mother's Day, when is there going to be a day for Father's? We could
call it Father's Day. That's only fair. I'm starting a petition!
