Maybe next time
Listen, I'm glad the SE half (I say "half" but I mean 3/5ths because why would I
intentionally say what I mean?) of the state is getting rain, but NW OK is where
it is MOST needed. I've learned the hard way not to say we need to "shift" the
rain from one part of the state to another, but more that we need to "spread" the
rain that way. While totals haven't been too tremendous thus far, there is more
to come AND these totals would look wonderful to the NW 2/5ths of the state.
Heck, it's raining right now for crying out loud! But not in NW OK.
That coincides rather nicely with the precip outlook for Feb. 12-16, so maybe
there is another inch or two out there for western Oklahoma beyond next Tuesday.
Other than that bit of exciting-if-not-probably-gonna-be-disappointing news,
it's winter again.
Still no sign of real arctic air, however, which is a lot worse than FAKE arctic
air. Like going through the freezer sections of grocery stores. That's fake
arctic air. I will accept some fake SUMMER air, however.
