Well, there's no easy way to type this. Seriously, I have to use my fingers and
continuously hit different keys on this long object (let's call it a "keyboard"...
TRADEMARKED BY ME!) that represent different letters. Let me worry about that,
however. Y'all need to worry about the weather.

No, that's not my job! I worry about the climate.

Some keep calling this "second summer" but in reality, simply "summer" has never
gone away, has it? Okay, maybe we did have a slight "fall" about the third week
of August...what, you forgot already??

Okay, you convinced me...second summer it is! And it is nasty. Now we will get
a couple of cold (LOL!) fronts through here, first on Thursday and again late in
the weekend, but don't expect much of an actual cooldown just yet. The second front
over the weekend could stick around for a day or three, but we zoom back up
later next week.

So bookending our cool (i.e., normal) Thursday, we'll see those temperatures
skyrocket on Wednesday and Friday.

Ugh, indeed. And it just keeps going after that.

Rain? Don't make me laugh (cry). Maybe...MAYBE...a bit of rain with that second
front over the weekend, but mostly dry into the end of September.

This is classic drought behavior for Oklahoma, where we see longer periods
without appreciable rainfall, then a hope-inducing bout with moisture for a
few days, some drought improvement, then back to the longer period without
rain. These maps are by and large gonna get worse...much worse...before they
get better.

Okay, nobody is answering on the customer service line. I guess I'll have to
go down there!
